AI features run on a key, and it can be yours. Bring your own OpenRouter or Google AI Studio key, and your AI usage runs on your own account, under your own agreement with that provider, on a model you pick.
A recruiting agency on its own AI account
A recruiting agency already pays for its own OpenRouter account and wants all of its AI spending in one place. A recruiter pastes the agency’s key into “AI settings” and keeps the default model. From then on, every AI decision and draft for her candidates runs on the agency’s account, and the key shows only as a masked hint, marked active.

Your key, your account
Paste your key into “AI settings” and your AI usage runs on your own account: you see the spend with your provider, pick a model from the approved list, and your own agreement with that provider covers your data. The key is checked before it’s saved. If it ever stops working, AI pauses until you replace it, with no quiet switch to a shared key. Rather not manage a key at all? Pick a plan that includes a managed one.
How to set it up
Create a key with OpenRouter or Google AI Studio.
In your workspace settings, open “Follow-up preferences”, then “AI settings”.
Under “Add your AI key”, choose your provider, paste the key and save. It’s checked before it’s saved.
Choose a “Model”, or keep “Default”.

Yes. Using your own key comes with every paid plan. Once it’s connected, AI usage runs on your own provider account, so the spend is yours to see and control.
Can anyone see my API key after I save it?
No. It’s stored encrypted, and the interface only ever displays a masked hint.
Which AI providers can I use?
OpenRouter, or Google AI Studio for Gemini models. Pick a model from the approved list, or keep the default.
What happens if my key stops working?
AI pauses and the key shows as “rejected” until you replace it. There’s no quiet switch to a shared key in the meantime.
