Your regulars, rebooked before they drift away.

Your day is booked solid, and next month depends on whether today’s clients come back. Appointmentist reads the appointments on your calendar, including the ones your booking system copies there, and reminds you when each regular is due to rebook.

Promised at the chair

“See you in six weeks!”

Nobody wrote it down. The client drifted away.

“Your color will need a refresh in about five weeks.”

Nobody reminded her, so she tried the place down the street.

“Your tenth visit is on us.”

The paper card went through the wash, and the tenth visit never came.

Caught, texted, back in the chair

  1. Caught from the calendar you already keep

Mara’s color & cut on Aug 12 is read from your calendar. Appointmentist adds her to your clients and plans her rebooking six weeks out, when her color will need a refresh. Nobody at the front desk types a thing.

  2. A text with your booking link, in a tap

When the reminder comes due, press “Follow up”, pick “SMS” and let AI draft it, or write your own. “Insert link” adds your booking page, and the text names your salon and ends with the opt-out line.

  3. She books, and the reminder closes itself

Mara picks a time on your booking page, which only offers times you’re really free. The rebooking reminder closes by itself, and at the visit you stamp her loyalty card.

A loyalty card that lives in their phone

Paper punch cards get lost. Issue a card your clients add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, scan it at the desk with your phone’s camera, and the balance on their card updates by itself. Tapped the wrong thing? Undo it within 15 minutes.

A lost phone isn’t a lost balance: revoke the card, issue a replacement, and the balance carries over.

Working as a team? Clients can pick who they see on your booking page, and the people on your team are never filed as clients.

Getting started

  1. Sign up with the Google or Microsoft (beta) account that holds your bookings. If your booking system copies appointments to a calendar, connect that one.

  2. Tick the calendars that hold client appointments.

  3. In “Follow-up preferences”, open “Manage rules” and set a rebooking time for each service, like six weeks after a color & cut.

  4. On a paid plan, open “Booking” and press “Create booking page”, then open “Scan a card” to set up your loyalty card.

Reminders, client records and texting from your own phone come with every plan. Online booking and loyalty cards come with paid plans. AI drafts need a paid plan (some include a managed AI key), and some paid plans can send texts for you.Compare plans

Salons & studios: common questions

My booking system already sends reminders. Why add this?

Those remind a client about the appointment they already have. Appointmentist reminds you about the one they haven’t booked yet, so a regular is asked back before they drift away.

Do my clients need an app?

No. They book from your booking page without an account, and their loyalty card lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Who decides when a client gets a text?

You do. A follow-up text only goes out when you press send, booking confirmations only if you switch them on, and reminders come to you. Texts sent from Appointmentist name your salon and tell the client how to opt out, and the ones you send go out only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. in your time zone (8 p.m. for numbers starting with +1).

Can several stylists share it?

Yes. Invite them to your workspace and choose what each one can do. Clients can pick who they see on your booking page.
