Plan lessons on your laptop and teach with only your phone nearby: turn on notifications on both, and each reminder reaches whichever screen you see first.
Students sometimes glance at your phone, so a reminder can show only the times, not whose recap it is. On iPhone or iPad, add Appointmentist to your Home Screen first; the setup guide shows how.
Getting started
Sign up with the Google or Microsoft (beta) account that holds your lesson calendar.
When setup asks what you do, choose “I teach students”. The app then speaks of students and lessons.
In “Notifications”, press “Connect Telegram” and then “Start” in the chat, or turn on notifications on each phone and computer you use.
In “Follow-up preferences”, open “Manage rules” and set up your routine.

Tutors: common questions
Can I send the recap from my phone?
Yes. Open the reminder and choose text, call or email, and your phone’s messaging, phone or mail app takes it from there. On paid plans, AI can write the first draft.
Do I need Telegram?
No. Notifications on your phone or computer work on their own. Connect both, and each reminder goes to both.
What about lessons that need no follow-up?
Dismiss the suggestion and nothing is scheduled. For lessons that never need one, a “Never follow up” rule keeps them out of your suggestions.
Will parents get messages on their own?
No. Reminders come to you, and a parent hears from you only when you send something yourself.
