A reminder only helps if you see it. Turn on notifications on the phones and computers you use, and each follow-up shows up there when it’s due, even with no Appointmentist tab open.
A tutor on two screens
A tutor plans lessons on her laptop and keeps only her phone nearby while she teaches, so she turns on notifications on both. At 17:00 the recap for Max’s parents pops up on whichever screen is in front of her. Since students sometimes glance at her phone, she has notifications show only the times, not whose recap it is.

Switch on notifications on each phone, tablet or computer you work from, and every reminder reaches all of them at once. Tapping one opens that follow-up in the app, where you can reach out, show it later or mark it done. It works alongside Telegram, or on its own if you’d rather keep reminders out of your chats.
On iPhone and iPad, add it to your Home Screen first
iPhone and iPad only deliver notifications from web apps on the Home Screen. Open Appointmentist, tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”, and turn on notifications from the app you just added. On Android phones and on computers, the browser is all you need.
You choose what it says
Pick how much a notification tells you: only that a follow-up is due, with a link into the app; when the appointment was and when the follow-up is due; or everything, including who it’s about and how to reach them. The quieter settings keep client names off a screen that someone else might see.
How to set it up
On iPhone or iPad, add Appointmentist to your Home Screen first: tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”, and open it from there.
In your workspace, open “Notifications”, choose “Browser” and press “Enable on this device”.
Allow notifications when your browser asks, and repeat on each phone or computer you use.
Press “Send test” under “Send yourself a test” to see exactly how a reminder arrives.
To choose how much a reminder says, use “What notifications say” in “Follow-up preferences”.

Do I need the app open to get notifications?
No. Once they’re on, notifications arrive even when no Appointmentist tab is open. On a computer, keep your browser running in the background.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, once Appointmentist is on your Home Screen. Add it there first, then turn on notifications from the installed app.
Do I need Telegram as well?
No. Web push works on its own. Connect Telegram too and each reminder goes to both, so you can act on whichever you see first.
Can I turn notifications off on one device?
Yes. “Your devices” lists every phone and computer with notifications on, and you can rename or switch off each one.
